There are so many reasons why Scarborough is as popular now as it always has been, aside from the nostalgia for its rich and vibrant early days. The resort has retained a traditional feel to it, despite many facelifts and improvements to facilities and services. There is a blending of the old with the new as Scarborough modernises its facilities without losing the charm of the ‘good ‘ol days’. With easy access to the towns and cities of Filey, Bridlington, Whitby and York.

Welcome to Guest houses in Scarborough’s Accommodation Directory.

Scarborough has lots of attractions for visitors aside from the beach.

Scarborough Castle dominates the coastal skyline, and backing onto the beach there are lots of options for eating out and traditional seaside entertainments, and the number of festivals in summer is growing. North along the coast you come to Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby, or if you have had enough of the seaside the North York Moors National Park reaches right to the edge of town.

Further afield, but easily reachable in a day trip, you can go shopping in Leeds, visit historic York or visit local market towns such as Beverley, Pickering and Malton which are in easy reach.
